NEW FROM WITH THY NEEDLE AND THREAD (BRENDA GERVAIS)

Oh boy!  Am I in trouble......I love all of these designs and I guess they are going to end up  in my ever-growing 'to stitch' pile!  At this point, I don't even know which one I would start first.  So sit back, check them out and decide which ones to reserve for your stitching pile...

Merry Christmas is stitched in the style of her Summer Schoolhouse series...one over one.  Finished size is about 5.5x2 on 28ct mushroom lugana.  Stitch size is 153x59 so you could easily do it over 2 and end up with a picture or pillow 11x4 if stitched on a 28ct fabric.  Better yet, Brenda even says it could be done on a large count like 22 over 2 and you would end up with a large sofa pillow. (I've stitched several of her charts on large count fabric and just love the way they turned out as a large pillow.)  Threads used...GA:  Woodrose, Wood Trail, Endive; CC:  Chili pepper, Eggshell, Peanut Brittle, Straw Hat.

Snow Birds wearing cute little scarves to keep them warm, is stitched on 40ct Confederate Gray.  Stitch count is 121x85.  Threads....GA: Apple Cider, Pumpkin Pie, Wood Trail; CC:  Eggshell, Ginger Bread, Cherry Cobbler, Tennessee Red Clay, Ye Olde Gold, Cayenne; WDW: Peach, Sage, Oscar.

O Tannenbaum uses a box but think about finishing each design independently from the next one.  Stitched on 36ct Legacy, you would need a 9x26 cut of fabric.  Threads used...GA:  Dried Thyme, Apricot Blush, Old Red Paint, Cidermill Brown, Woodrose, Roasted Marshmallow, Wood Trail; CC:  Eggshell, Hickory Sticks, Hazelnut, Weeping Willow; WDW:  Sandcastle, Red Rocks.
