AND MORE PICS

Sorry it's taken me so long to post the additional pics.  I've had problems with hotel connections and today I had to change browsers to get this posted, so here goes with some new pics.  Don't forget, these are just a few of the many charts I brought back from market.  There are some charts that the designers ran out of and they have to ship them to me when they get back home.  There are new overdyed floss colors, 4 from Weeks and 3 from Gentle Art and we've got them all.  AND, wait till you see the new fabrics I brought back.  Beautiful overdyed 30, 35 and 40 count fabrics from R&R and Picture This Plus.  I've also got some overdyed Aida fabrics from Picture This Plus and some 16, 18 and 20 count aidas in neutral colors.  So, on with the show.......

With Thy Needle and Thread,  Brenda Gervais brings us Madam Cottontail, Springtime Messenger and Easter Parade.

The Garden Fair is a special edition kit from Blackbird Designs and Hoffman Distributing.

Vintage Inspiration is from Blackbird Designs.  Another Reward of Merit design is Topiary in Bloom.  We also have a beautiful kit from Blackbird.

Elizabeth's Designs brings us Antique Bee Sampler

JBW Designs has several new ones out among which are A Friend So Dear and Seaside Alphabet.  She also designed Alphabet Dog and French Country Hot Air Balloon and French Country Spring Basket.

La-D-Da has A Sister's Garden, My Country and Spring Hare (which I just love)

Poppy Kreation's has ABC-XYZ.

Stacy Nash Primitives has Eliza Poole Sampler and several others.

Sue Hillis Designs has 2 new Easter ornament charts.

Shepherd's Bush 's Winter Box ( and they have a Spring Box).

Pat's Sampler - True Friendship is from Plum Street Samplings.  And, we have some other new ones, too.

New fabric from Picture This Plus....Wren and Nocturne.

Chessie n Me has several new ones and this is 1776 Harbor and it is added to my to do list.

Well, these are just some of the great charts that were shown at the Nashville Market.  Stop by and see the others.  And don't forget, we're still expecting more charts that were out of stock by the time we got to the designer's rooms.

MORE FROM MARKET

Poppy Kreations has created a primitive patriotic ABC-XYZ, stitched on 30ct WDW Confederate Grey and overdyed threads.

With Thy Needle and Thread (Country Stitches) has finished her reproduction English sampler Elizabeth Clark 1822 and it's beautiful.  She also has come up with 3 smaller designs:  Springtime Messenger, Madam Cottontail and Easter Parade.  Several years ago she did Bunny and Co, a bunny pulling a chick in an egg cart with wheels.  This Easter Parade has an Easter bunny riding a chick and he's holding a tulip flower.  The two complement each other.  The newer one, however, is a vertical pillow.

ON THE ROAD......TO THE NASHVILLE MARKET

Left Wednesday and drove west to avoid bad weather.  Hit Charleston, WV around 6pm and went to dinner.  Came out of restaurant around 7:30pm and snow was starting.  Drove about 3 blocks back to hotel and parking lot was covered.  About 5" on ground Thurs am.  Left hotel around 10:30, driving west.  Went about 1 hour and snow stopped.  In another hour we hit dry roads and continued all the way across KY to Paducah with no bad weather, just a few traffic problems.  Arrived around 9pm.  Will go see some antique malls and quilt shops Friday and then arrive in Nashville around 3PM to check into hotel and then the fun will begin.....we'll see all the banners hanging from the railings showing what floor the designers are on.  Some will be open Friday night and then the show actually starts Sat at 9am.  Can't wait.

NASHVILLE MARKET NEWS

The shoppe will be closed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday February 13.14 & 15 when I drive to the Nashville Market.  I will reopen on Wednesday Feb. 19, provided no bad weather stops me from driving back home.

I will be shopping mainly for new fabric colors and restocking old ones, new fiber colors from Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works and of course, new charts.  I'll check out the distributors there and see what else they may have that's new.

Also by the end of February I will be placing another order with the Primitive Hare in Italy.  So if anyone needs any of her charts, let me know by February 28  and I'll include them with my order.

Here are some pics of new releases....the much awaited for Autumn Sampler from Rosewood Manor...here seasons is now complete.

And from the Nebbly Needle, three new designs.....Old Town Sampler, Amazing Grace and On a Hillside, which is based on the old folk art song of the 60's called Little Boxes.  Anyone remember this song?I think Pete Seeger recorded it and had a hit.

Well, that's all for now.  See you after market!
