September News

Still getting settled in the new shop.  Trying to find a good way to display all the charts and chartpacks is driving me a little crazy.  Crazier, yet, is the good old post office.....they don't seem to want to forward my packages in a timely manner or they don't want to admit there is a new business in town and won't deliver properly addressed packages.  Oh well, patience is a virtue.....I just don't seem to have it right now.  But things have got to get better.....

Don't forget, the shop will be closed Sept 20, 21, 22, 23.  I will be attending a needlework retreat in Virginia.  A much needed vaca/downtime.  Can't wait.  But meantime, business must go on and I've been placing chart and fabric orders.

Also, the 3rd Wednesday night free stitch is cancelled for September.

Hot off the press and due soon....if they choose to deliver... are charts from Kathy Barrick/Carriage House Samplings and Drawn Thread.  Also due in from Puffin & Co are some heart and cat counting pins and sheep and mouse needle nannies.

One of the packages missing in action/delivery is from With Thy Needle and Thread and contains her 3 new fall charts.   I was in touch with her earlier in the week and it had just shown up in her mailbox.  Addressed to my new address and marked undeliverable.  The second package I'm looking for as been reissued and contains the new Just Cross Stitch Christmas issue magazines.  I'm hoping this shows up Friday or Saturday.  Guess you'll have to stay tuned for further moving adventures.
