LABOR DAY WEEKEND...

is upon us and Just Cross Stitch will be here at the shop.  We will be open regular hours on Saturday from 10-3 and since Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, we will be here 11-2.

Don't forget Prairie Schooler has put out their last annual Santa and if you are missing any, give us a call and we will try to fill in the voids.  Some are still available and some are not.  We've also placed all Prairie Schooler charts on one rack so you can find what you want easily.

Just in today from Plum Street Samplers:  Olga's Tart, stitched and placed in a small tart pan, and Blackberry House, shown in a stitching cabinet, but would look very good in a frame on your wall.

FALL TRADE SHOW

Our Fall Trade Show is coming soon on September 10-13.....but I won't be traveling anywhere.  It is a show on the computer.  I'm afraid you as consumers can't view new charts through this show, but you can watch sneak peeks at the Harvest Market Hop Needlework Trade Show's facebook page.  Go to the page and LIKE it and you can catch all the peeks coming our way.  Starting Monday, I can post pics of new charts and products that should arrive within 2 weeks.

PLUM STREET SAMPLERS

Olga's Tart is a new design for the tart pan and will be in the shop shortly.  If you've seen our sample, you know that we've finished so that the designs can be switched in and out of the same tart,  Bet you can guess I'll be stitching this for the Halloween season.

And, just arrived, is number 3 in the Serial Bowl collection, Lesson Three.  Gotta stitch it as I love bee themed charts and I've already done the previous two designs.

Coming from With Thy Needle and Thread

The FALL is coming and so are Brenda Gervais's new Halloween and Autumn releases.  Which one are you going to stitch?

Just love, Witches Night Out...You know I'm gonna do it.  Finishes out just under 5x5 so it could be a large ornie for that Halloween shelf of even wreath.  Stitched on 36ct Mello from PTP, it uses WDW, GAST and Crescent Color flosses.

Bobbing for Pumpkins....another good one.  Just love the witches.  This is stitched on 32ct straw, from WDW, and uses threads from all 3 overdyed floss companies.  Finishes out at about 6x9.

Grateful, Thankful & Blessed is lovely stitched on 36ct Wren, from PTP.  It is stitched with WDW, GAST and CC silks and cottons and finishes at around 8x10.

And finally, Oct. 31.  It is stitched on 36ct legacy from PTP with WDW, GAST and CC cotton and 1 silk.  Finished size is approximately 6.5x9.

NEW FROM DRAWN THREAD

New from Drawn Thread is The Pastoral, a multi piece chart for a pocket, fob and sampler.  As you can see from the first 2 pictures, you can do the individual pieces, or create a beautiful sampler.  Everything is stitched on 32ct fabric and uses a GAST thread palette or Dinky Dyes Silk.

Free & Brave offers a combo of cross stitches and fancier stitches to tempt the stitcher.   It is stitched on 32ct fabric and design size is slightly less than  5x5.

I'm not sure how new this is but I loved the subject and colors....The Cat's Meow.  Also stitched on 32ct fabric, it finishes out at 5x5.  Using DMC colors, you get to stitch 5 cats and their favorite 'toys'...mice and birds.

Norden Crafts Online Needlework Show will premier

on Monday August 10 and run through August 19.  Check out the charts and accessories available and you can order any of them through Just Cross Stitch .  Stop in and give me your order, call or email the shop.    These are all new charts from a great variety of designers.  It will be just like going to a trade show....in your PJ's.

The designs are available for review at the facebook page Norden Crafts Online Needlework Show . You can also view larger pics at their blog .  Just click either the facebook page name or the word 'blog'...both are in a different color...and you should be able to go directly to either page.

We will be ordering throughout the show and will have some of the charts available in the shop after the show.
