Just Cross Stitch will be closed from Christmas through the new  year.  We will reopen Wed Jan 2 at 11am.  I'm keeping the shorter hours because I believe there may be additional surgery this year.

From Wed Jan 2 thru Sunday Jan 6 we will have a STASH ENHANCEMENT 2019 event. All charts will be discounted 30% and fabric and all other supplies will be 20% off,  Take the week between the holidays to plan your 2019 stitching projects and calculate your needs and take advantage of our event.

ARRIVING SOON FROM PLUM STREET SAMPLERS

The first is Goodbye Fall.  Paulette thought a spin-off of the Hello series was in order at this time of the year.... an 'out with the old and in with the new' series.  The design size is 164x100 stitched on a 36ct fabric with WDW threads.

Llama Lump is decked out for the holidays.  Stitched on a 36ct fabric, the chart is 54x90 and stitched with WDW, CC and DMC.

Noah VI is the last chart for the series if stitching them all together on one piece of fabric.  However, there will be more coming to create additional ornaments.

NEW 2019 LITTLE HOUSE SERIES

Yes, LHN is starting a new series in 2019 called JACK FROST TREE FARM, which will probably blend very well with the Christmas Farmhouse series from this year.  Finished with a slightly different twist, it looks really cute.  There are 7 parts, one long and six that are 59square.  If you stitch them all together on one piece of 30 ct fabric, you would center the long one across the top and have 2 rows of 3 centered below it and the count would be 183x173.

A Bowl Full of Scaries, SCARY TWO is now out in just chart format.  Design size is 90x66 and is stitched on a 36ct Stars Hollow Blend fabric using WDW threads.

IN FRIENDSHIP is stitched on 36 Patriot's Brew and has a count of 158x158.  It uses WDW floss.

GOBBLE GOB is 54x90, stitched on 36ct Plum Street Blend and uses CC and WDW flosses.

AUTUMN SALTBOXES has 2 designs 63x81 and is stitched on 36 Beach Brew fabric using WDW and DMC flosses.  There is some 1over1 tent stitches in this chart.

MISS BINGLEY'S LIBRARY is 113x147 stitched on 36ct Liberty Gathering Gray with WDW and CC floss.  It contains a Jane Austen quote.

BETSY'S AUTUMN is her rendition of Betsy Ross's Autumn.  Stitched on 36 Vintage Meadow Rue, it has a count of 184x130 and uses CC and WDW floss.

NEW DMC FLOSS

DMC has come out with a new floss,,,,Mouline Special ETOILE.  It has a slightly different texture than the regular floss and has a sparkle .  It is 6 strands.  It comes in 35 colors.  They have taken some of the most popular DMC color numbers to create this line....white, black, 3371, 436, 907, 798 and 3799 to name a few.  Retail will be approximately $2.00 per skein

Hello Halloween.....Hello Autumn.....Bringing Home the Tree

NEW FROM PLUM STREET SAMPLERS

Just arrived, four new charts from Plum Street.....I know I need to stitch a couple of these.  Which ones are you going to stitch?

Crone on the Hill stitched on 36ct Vintage Beeswax from R&R (fabric due in next week) and is 116x72.
Floss used:  DMC, CC and WDW.

Eat Crow stitched on 36ct Vintage Beeswax with CC and WDW floss.  Stitch count is 140x149

Buzz Off, stitched on the same fabric as above, has a stitch count of 137x148.  It uses WDW & CC floss.

Installation 5 of 6 in the Noah's Christmas Ark features Hyenas and Sheep.  One more scheduled chart is due in the series, but it is rumored that the designer may put out additional animal charts if you might choose to continue the population of the Ark.

A STITCHING DAY IN OCTOBER

Do you want to experience a wonderful day stitching with friends and get snacks and lunch too?  All for $15.00????   Then you need to register for the Fall Stitch-In at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hatfield, PA  on Saturday October 13, from 10-3.  I've been to the last couple events and they've been great with delicious lunches.  I'm sending in my registration this weekend.

Any craft will do, it is not just stitching.  There are raffles and door prizes and you are welcome to bring some stash to donate to the Stash Swap this year.
