Hey Stitchers! There are lots of VERY nice things coming out at market this weekend. I just wanted to show you some pictures - some are here, some are coming. So sit back and enjoy!
JBW Designs has shipped her auto and they are here. Two more charts with Christmas tree ornaments, a French Country Turkey, a French Country Snow Globe and a French Country Wreath.
I'm thinking about stitching the snow globe , only, and mounting it into an ornament. Maybe I'll change the color of the base to a gold.
Crescent Colours and Shakespeare's Peddler are bringing out Christmasland - a four part silk/chartpack of a cute village scene. These have been ordered and the first installment should arrive around the first week in October.
Rosewood Manor has been designing and designing. Ring in Christmas is a Quaker Stocking. The chart can be personalized and is done on a 28 white evenweave or linen, in DMC 815. How about using an overdye floss to enhance the Quaker motifs? Another design is Quaker Diamonds, a companion piece to Quaker and Quilts, also done in Valdani fibers and on 28 count Mello fabric from Picture This Plus. This chart is 1o pages and offers ideas for other pieces to stitch. Vintage Lace, an 18 page chart, offers the large cover design , 12 mini designs and 2 medium sized samplers.
Little House Needleworks has The Library coming out - very popular among you readers. And Carriage House Samplings, of course, has the long awaited Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow.

Hey, Everybody! Time has flown.
BACK TO SCHOOL SALE - Receive 20% off your entire purchase on FRIDAY SEPT 18 AND SATURDAY SEPT 19 --- 10-4 EACH DAY. Stop by and stock up so you can get some good stitching time in now that school has started!
REMINDER: Just Cross Stitch will be CLOSED ON OCTOBER 1, 2, 3 and 4 - that's Thursday thru Sunday. We will be OPEN on SUNDAY OCT 11 from 11-2. I am going on a Cross Stitch Retreat and I can't wait. I will be in Virginia Beach, VA attending a retreat sponsored by Dyeing 2 Stitch, a local shop. The shop owners are also the ladies who dye R&R fabrics. Blackbird Designs and Jeanette Douglas, from Canada, will be my 'teachers' for the retreat. Shepherd's Bush and Charland, from Canada, will also be there offering classes. As I said, I can't wait. Not only will this be my first retreat but it will be my first vacation in YEARS. I've always counted my wholesale markets as vacations - that is working vacations. But this one is going to be all pleasure and stitching.
Now, for some VERY IMPORTANT NEWS: Just Cross Stitch is on the move to bigger digs. That's right, WE ARE MOVING! After 12+ years in Limerick, we will be relocating to Lederach - right on Route 113, about half way between Route 73 in Skippack and Route 63 in Harleysville. We will occupy 820 square feet known as Unit #3 in the Lederach Commons, across the street from the Lederach Tea Room. We are set off Route 113 in an older 'strip mall' that contains Curves, a hair salon, the Lederach Post Office and several other businesses. Current plans are to physically move Saturday October 24.
The actual 'shop' area will be close to 2 times my current space. I plan to have a table set up for stitchers to frequent during the day, whenever the mood strikes. I'll have a back room for shop 'business' and storage. And much more room to spread out and create more displays so it will be easier to see everything.
And, there are NO steps to come into the shop.
As I said, we will be moving on Saturday Oct 24. Non-essential items will be moved much earlier. We will start taking the shop apart and packing the week of Oct 20. We will be open for business at the new location on Tuesday Oct 27. We may not be all set up, but we will be there for you to come and check us out.
I probably will be finding places for inventory even I haven't seen in a while. Oh boy! It's going to be like opening a BIG present when I start to pack.
Stay tuned for more info and our plans for a Grand Opening in Lederach.
Talk to you soon! Carolyn
