2019 NASHVILLE MARKET SNEAK PEEKS

I'm going to try and throw out the sneak peeks I find for charts I will hopefully get at market in March.  If you like a chart and want to preorder it, give me a call and place the order.  If you see a peek at another site, you can preorder that too, but I would need to know designer and hopefully name of chart or a good description of it.

Stickndeen von der Wiehenburg offer Black Raven Quaker and Dutch Flower Quaker samplers.  Botany Bay Sampler has worked it's way between these 2 samplers.

Miss Lucy Calcutt 1826.  This is the second sampler done in the same year by Lucy.

Thistles brings Little Cabin in the Pines.  I want to find a  vintage tin like this.......

Silver Creek Samplers:  Fireside sampler and When Life is Done.  Some may find this design morbid, but I've been taken by this sampler ever since I saw the preview showing the lower portion and I think I need to stitch it.

La D Da:  Elizabeth Jones Sampler,  Three Lillies and Quilts and Quakers

Plum Street brings 6 new designs to market...we'll be bringing them all back with us.

House and Hound comes from Samplers Revisited and is done on a 36ct fabric 110x126.

With Thy Needle and Thread has 10 new designs.  Ode to the Ort is a kit and includes the tin box.  Please call and reserve this kit if you want one.  We are limted to a purchase of 12 at market.

Heartstring Samplery.  Along with these 3 they will also have a pincushion Stitch or Die and 2 Festive Fobs:  Barnyard and Teatime.

WHAT'S NEW IN 2019

New releases will be a little slow in the beginning of the year.  Most designers will be holding their new designs for the Needlework Market in Nashville in the beginning of March.  But we do have a few new designs and a few back in stock.  So here goes:

Continuing the Animal Cracker series, we have Primrose, a cute new bunny from Stacy Nash.  Finished size is 8.5x3.5.  She's accompanied by a backpack you make out of wool and her carrots, made of wool and velveteen.

Americana Birds and Flowers Pin Cushion is from Dames of the Needle.  She shows the piece on a 5 inch diameter wooden candle base but you could finish it as a pinwheel pin cushion, an ornament or I think it will fit in a tart pan.

Stacy Nash brings us  Gathering the Greens Sampler stitched on 35ct Confederate Gray with a stitch count of 232x152 (13x8.75).  I'm a 'pillow in a bowl' kinda girl so I'm thinking about stitching just the lower portion, eliminating the alphabet.  You probably could just drop the upper border down, or eliminate the border completely.

Back in stock is the Prairie Schooler's  Christmas Samplers II and Bent Creek's Stars and Stripes Forever (we have a model in the shop).

One more new item is a fabric....Lugana 32count, Silvery Moon....it's very nice and, in real life, has a kind of shimmer on the pale gray.

ARRIVING SOON FROM PLUM STREET SAMPLERS

The first is Goodbye Fall.  Paulette thought a spin-off of the Hello series was in order at this time of the year.... an 'out with the old and in with the new' series.  The design size is 164x100 stitched on a 36ct fabric with WDW threads.

Llama Lump is decked out for the holidays.  Stitched on a 36ct fabric, the chart is 54x90 and stitched with WDW, CC and DMC.

Noah VI is the last chart for the series if stitching them all together on one piece of fabric.  However, there will be more coming to create additional ornaments.

NEW 2019 LITTLE HOUSE SERIES

Yes, LHN is starting a new series in 2019 called JACK FROST TREE FARM, which will probably blend very well with the Christmas Farmhouse series from this year.  Finished with a slightly different twist, it looks really cute.  There are 7 parts, one long and six that are 59square.  If you stitch them all together on one piece of 30 ct fabric, you would center the long one across the top and have 2 rows of 3 centered below it and the count would be 183x173.
